This workbook will help preschoolers expand their vocabulary and understand simple texts. It will aid in the development of visual and auditory perception as well as enrich thinking. It prepares children to more easily acquire writing skills in elementary school. They will learn to indicate writing movements – relaxing the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers first in the so-called air and then to hold a marker, pencil, or crayon correctly. Once they master these skills, they will imitate graphic templates in the workbook on larger paper. Triangular grip crayons are the most suitable for coloring pictures. It is not expected that preschoolers should learn to read and write. It is sufficient if they can maintain attention during texts read by adults, evaluate the presented information, reproduce it, and draw simple connections from it. They will be successful if they learn to express their ideas, impressions, and emotions. Using the workbook requires cooperation between the child and their parents or educators in preschool. It does not matter whether all children complete the assigned tasks and exercises at the same pace.
