Pohádky pro poslech a první čtení + CD – Smyslilová Alena (2015)

Fairy tales have entertained readers for more than 300 years. From the treasury of well-known creators – Charles Perrault, Hans Christian Andersen, and Božena Němcová – we have selected six stories that will take you into a magical world where anything is possible. Each fairy tale tells in eight pictures about kings and princesses, brave and unassuming heroes, who are both people and animals. On the journey to happiness, they will have to outsmart the devil, a giant, or a wolf; at other times, a fairy, love, or nature itself will help. The stories end as they should: despite obstacles, whether with magic or without, good, wisdom/smartness, and justice prevail. The book includes the following fairy tales: • The Devil and Káča • Little Red Riding Hood • Puss in Boots • The Ugly Duckling • Cinderella • The Proud Princess Beautiful illustrations by Jiří Petráček are complemented by short texts for early readers. In the attached booklet, there are longer versions of the fairy tales. With respect to the original style of the authors, the texts were retold by Alena Smyslilová, and the audio version was narrated by actors Naďa Konvalinková and Ivo Kubečka.
