Description
The three-part teaching set includes a textbook with an integrated workbook and covers levels A1 to B1. It offers an appropriate and functional amount of grammar and vocabulary in an accessible manner. More time is dedicated to mastering basic language phenomena, with an emphasis on listening and communication exercises. Students will learn to actively use the basics of the English language and will leave the lessons with a real ability to communicate in English. Each lesson focuses on language skills: reading and listening comprehension, speaking, and writing, and the task formats correspond to international exams. It systematically practices all basic grammatical phenomena, favors clear and gradual explanations, and offers a wealth of materials for teaching and homework preparation. The workbook contains a large number of exercises, including self-evaluation tests. The audio CD with listening texts in MP3 format is no longer included in the new edition of the textbook. It is available for free download at www.klett.cz (in the methodological materials).
