Asie - Školní atlas pro základní školy a víceletá gymnázia (2020)

This school atlas of Asia is designed for geography lessons at primary schools and multi-year grammar schools. It complements the School Atlas of the World, expands on its topics and selected features, and presents the continent in greater detail through maps covering its natural environment, population, history and economy. The atlas includes exercise pages for relaxed, playful revision through the creation of a map of the student’s own, with questions prompting students to add important names and terms; teachers can also devise further questions. A photographic section, “Photo Tours”, documents the continent’s environment, nature and everyday life. The atlas is approved as a textbook by the Czech Ministry of Education. In its fifth edition, with approval extended until 2023, thematic and statistical data are updated, the continent’s political and administrative organization is revised, and new, clearly presented photographs are included. It contains a physical and political overview map, detailed general geography maps, thematic maps of the natural sphere, population and economy, map-making exercises, an overview of countries and geographical records, photo tours and an index.
