The workbook for the Student Atlas is the first workbook for a school atlas on the market and is designed to show children geography as such. The main goal of its creation was to teach children how to work with maps, show them how to read maps correctly, and how to extract as much information as possible from maps. In addition to tasks on reading maps, the workbook includes tasks that connect information between graphs and maps, tables and maps, and last but not least, photographs and maps. It is presented in color, and all content is illustrative and readable. It also includes three projects that are not primarily intended to be solved directly in school but offer children a glimpse into the practical side of geography, allowing them to become real geographers, even if just for a moment. The workbook is primarily intended for use with the Student Atlas; however, since it includes all the maps needed to complete the tasks, it can also be used for practicing map skills without any other school atlas or with any school atlas.
