Description
In the series of illustrated map-guides, we would like to introduce Kroměříž, which, together with Olomouc, launches this new series of maps from our publishing house. The illustrated plans of historical cities and towns are not maps in the traditional sense, but rather practical pocket guides. In the Kroměříž map, we will present all the most significant monuments of the city, especially the castle with the Podzámecká Garden and the Květná Garden, which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. A whole page of the map is dedicated to them, featuring detailed descriptions and photographs of the individual monuments and their components, along with detailed drawings of the castle and the Květná Garden. The front side of the map will introduce you to other remarkable monuments of Kroměříž, its churches, the bishop's mint, interesting burgher houses, and the former Jewish town hall. Here too, the descriptions of the monuments are accompanied by drawings by architect Staněk, who is also the author of the illustrated plan, and many photographs.
