Description
Šumava is one of the most popular cycling destinations in the Czech Republic, and this cycling map covers the Šumava, Klatovsko and Železnorudsko regions. It shows the complete network of marked cycling routes, including information about the surface of each road, as well as officially existing routes that are not marked in the terrain. Routes are described by distance, with dangerous places, steep climbs and asphalt road sections where motor vehicles are prohibited clearly marked. All these features are checked directly in the terrain before publication. In addition to cycling information, the map includes all the features of a hiking map, including hiking routes, and provides full tourist information for the parts of Germany covered by the map. The reverse side contains a gazetteer and elevation profiles of selected cycling routes, showing their height differences clearly. Each profile includes distances, a brief route description and, where applicable, warnings about dangerous places.
