Já, robot: poslouchat – Reichertová Mickey Zucker (2014)

2036: Robotic technology has advanced to the point where numerous artificial beings capable of perception and self-awareness have emerged. Humanity grapples with the consequences of its most astonishing creation, and there are those who have their own intentions for the robots: enslavement or complete destruction. Susan Calvin enters the second year of her residency at the hospital when a serious crime occurs that deeply affects her. As a child, she lost her mother in a car accident, in which her father was also severely injured. Now she realizes that this accident was actually an assassination attempt orchestrated by a certain government faction that desired the death of her parents. Susan has always suspected that part of the American government intended to steal her father's work and misuse it for military purposes. And it seems this faction has risen again. Susan struggles to overcome her own pain and confusion while managing the demands of her medical practice and studies. However, she discovers that she is being pursued by fanatical opponents of new technologies, whose intention is to return humanity to the dark ages, and she is also closely monitored by extremists who, on the contrary, seek genocide through advanced technology. Susan must now prevent both groups from achieving their goals.
