Description
How Honza Wanted to Be a Couch Potato It’s tempting to become a couch potato! To lounge on the stove, warm oneself, and stuff oneself with everything that mom brings right to your nose... But the number of stoves is decreasing. And where there is a stove and a fire, there is usually a devil nearby, because fire is the devil's favorite toy. And negotiating with the devil is very difficult when done nicely! Honza himself usually can't manage it... Magic Scissors Janek Žežulka was a skilled tailor, but he couldn't sew a suit for Mayor Hromada that would fit him on Monday just as well as on Friday. Especially since there were Dumpling Festivals on Saturday and Sunday, and Hromada could stuff himself like no one else. So Janek had to leave the village, and he was left with only a needle. He couldn't even take scissors! But soon he got new ones, and they cut so well that every tailor would give anything in the world for them.
