The monograph provides a comprehensive picture of the application of nursing models in practice, utilizing the models of Kathryn Bernard, Joyce Newman Giger, Ruth Davidhizar, etc. The publication aims to motivate nurses to take responsibility for their nursing practices using the nursing process method and to always act in the best interest of the client. In this case, it concerns a pediatric patient. The authors, based on creative thinking, analyze and synthesize relationships in detail and apply them in an unconventional way to abused, neglected, and maltreated children. Specific nursing models were selected from existing Czech and Slovak literature. The publication offers instructions on how to work with the nursing process method using a specific nursing model, theory in practice.
