Description
The second book in The Demon Cycle, The Desert Spear continues The Painted Man and portrays a clash between two cultures and two worlds. The Deliverer is coming, but which one is he? Arlen, born into a world bound by fear of demons, has chosen to defy his fate. He has become the Painted Man, a solitary warrior whom people regard as a savior. Arlen’s aim, however, is to prove to people that each person is chiefly responsible for their own fate and life. Who, then, is the desert warrior who has proclaimed himself the Deliverer and set out on a war campaign to unite the nations in the fight against demons? Which of them has the better chance when the demon ranks are also growing stronger?
