We all know a number of celebrities from television screens, theater stages, concert platforms, newspapers and magazines, or other media. However, only a handful of the chosen ones get the chance to collaborate with them, often requiring great luck to get close to such personalities, and even better, to work with them. But even if you place any two of these lucky individuals, who are equally close to the same personalities, their experiences and memories will always be different. This is the charm of uniqueness, and it is what this book by Václav Junek, a former director, dramaturge, and producer of ČST, once the director of Prague's Lucerna, and currently a well-known writer and publicist, is built upon. Throughout his rich life, he has met and personally collaborated with a whole range of significant personalities, whether it was Karel Gott, Miroslav Menšík, Ján Roháč, Jaroslav Dietl, Helena Růžičková, Karel Vlach, or even meeting Louis Armstrong during his performance in Prague, as evidenced by a signed photograph dedicated to the author. However, the book is not an extensive biography of any of the mentioned individuals, nor of anyone from the many other personalities that appear in it.
