The foundation of the theme and plot of Junk's new book is based on solid and indisputable historical facts. The Wotan's Spear project, which stems from them, is, however, sheer nonsense, just as the further depiction of an alternative ending to Hitler's Reich is a fiction that no sane person could ever wish for, and we do not impose it on our readers either. Nevertheless, it is possible to accept this author's construction as a real warning to the Czech reader about a threat that is now completely undeniable, as the license offered in this way can too easily transform into a dire reality for our mother continent. As could truly happen in the spirit of the book's conclusion: the gods will not punish us, but we will punish ourselves. Just for the fact that contemporary Euro-Atlantic civilization has no chance of standing firm, being so weakened from within by programmatic discord, the preaching of false ideas, and who knows what kind of orchestrated spread of civilizational diseases, destroying the ordinary European both physically and spiritually.
