Description
This nonfiction book examines the renewed division of the world and explains the term Cold War 2.0. Although the Cold War faded after 1989, tensions between centres of power began to re-emerge in the second half of the 1990s. The new conflict gradually took shape after 2000 and became clearly visible in 2008 in connection with the crisis surrounding Georgia. It erupted fully in 2014 after the pro-Western coup in Ukraine. According to the book, the goal remains the same: to neutralise Russia as a potentially powerful rival. The contents are in Czech.
