Description
The book Ten Stars introduces readers to the project of the Revitalization of Jewish Monuments in the Czech Republic, which has managed to save and reconstruct fifteen significant historical buildings in ten locations in Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia. The book brings readers closer to the history of Jewish settlement in these areas, provides insight into the exteriors and interiors of synagogues and rabbinical houses, and also discusses the current use of these buildings. The described locations include Boskovice, Brandýs nad Labem, Březnice, Jičín, Krnov, Mikulov, Nová Cerekev, Plzeň, Polná, and Úštěk. The book is published with the support of the Czech-German Future Fund. Also available in a Czech edition!
