Description
The flower magician Karlíček is half human and half dwarf, who must fight against the evil tree wizard Bartoloměj from a young age to save the Czech land. It is a story about the eternal struggle between good and evil. About how good always triumphs, but evil then reappears after some time, and people and fairy-tale beings must unite to defeat the villain and drive him out of their homeland. The book is also a fairy-tale journey through Czech history, where readers will encounter real historical figures. The butcher and hunter Kostelecký, Rudolf II, Countess Stradová, and also some gentlemen presidents. Let's see, children, if you can recognize them? The entire plot takes place at Prague Castle, mainly in its gardens - in the Royal Garden, the Southern Garden, in the Deer's Moat... And of course, grand roles are played by Grandpa Vševěd Antonín, fairies, water sprites, devils, fire spirits, and will-o'-the-wisps...
