Jan Žáček's book is a collection of his own experiences as a film and dubbing director and screenwriter, in which he recalls interesting and humorous moments as well as numerous personalities from Czech film and theater. At the same time, the book serves as an excursion into the appealing environment of film production, and similarly to Čapek's work, this book provides readers with an understanding of how, for example, a film script is created or how dubbing for foreign films is produced. In this way, the author indirectly complements Čapek with topics that he himself was not familiar with.
