Description
This Czech-language reading textbook for first-year pupils aims to teach the basics of reading comprehension and awaken an interest in books. It uses a simple analytic-synthetic method without syllable formation, allowing pupils to progress quickly by combining uppercase printed letters directly into meaningful words. Exercises for auditory and visual analysis and synthesis provide further practice. Pupils move on to lowercase letters only after learning to read all uppercase letters. The method is based on simplicity, activity, the development of thinking and a differentiated approach to pupils.
