Láska je základ bytí – Grün Anselm (2017)

Love is the essence of God, as proclaimed by the world's major religions, most clearly by Christianity, where love is personified in the Redeemer Jesus Christ. And as the essence of God, love is also the foundation of human existence. The author conveys various Christian perspectives on love and points out, for example, a number of remarkably similar traits between Christian and Greek thought. His hopeful study emphasizes Jesus' absolute love fulfilled on the cross and simultaneously serves as a call to love (even enemies!) as a force that can transform a person and provide a proper point of orientation in today's complex world. Grün's book is a celebration of love and an extremely suitable foundation for contemplation on this greatest of divine virtues.
