Arterial hypertension is today one of the most common and serious diseases, especially considering its crucial impact on cardiovascular mortality. Pharmacotherapy for hypertension has made significant progress in the last 15 years, which, however, is not always utilized in broad prescription practice. We believe that the new publication will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of hypertension treatment in the Czech Republic.
