Praktická arytmologie – Havránek Štěpán (2025)

A practically oriented textbook on arrhythmology intended for all doctors who regularly encounter heart rhythm disorders in their practice, including not only cardiologists but also internists and physicians from other fields. The publication covers the entire spectrum of arrhythmia issues, from a basic practical approach to the patient, rational use of diagnostic methods, to basic treatment. The reader should gain an understanding of when it is appropriate to refer a patient to a specialized cardiology center and what can be expected from specialized care. In this sense, the content of the book is also organized. The first part is dedicated to propaedeutics, examination methods, and the basics of treatment, while the second provides a systematic overview of rhythm disorders. The final part includes selected important chapters on the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the heart in relation to heart rhythm disorders. The book is designed very modernly, structured so that practically important insights are easy to read and remember. This is significantly aided by clear tables, and especially illustrations and diagrams.
