An expanded collective of authors (Plzeň, Prague, Brno) in this publication builds on their previous monographs Liver Surgery (Maxdorf, 2004) and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery (Maxdorf 2010), which have necessarily become outdated due to the rapid development of surgery. The original chapters have been supplemented and expanded with new procedures and updated in accordance with the latest surgical trends and possibilities. The text of the book is complemented by new color photographs, imaging method images, and schematic illustrations. New chapters on the treatment of oncological tumors in the hepato-pancreato-biliary area have also been added.
