Description
Interstitial lung processes (IPP) represent a vast group of diseases characterized by diffuse involvement of lung tissue, and to a large extent a similar clinical and radiological picture. HRCT today represents a key examination method enabling both framework and more detailed diagnosis of IPP. The practical significance of this examination has significantly increased in light of new possibilities for pharmacotherapy, which is beginning to fundamentally change the fate of these seriously ill patients. The publication also includes practically oriented model case studies with differential diagnosis.
