Description
Serafína is a sixteen-year-old girl with headphones in her ears and a head full of dreams about returning to southern Italy, where she was born and where her dad, grandmother, the sea, and an olive grove remain. Since she was seven, she has lived in Prague with her younger sister and mother, with whom she constantly argues and who forbids both her daughters from visiting their homeland. What Serafína lacks in life, she tries to find in books and in the stories she writes. But then one day, new friendships and perhaps even love enter her world, and her life begins to change rapidly. On her journey to find herself, however, she will face difficult decisions and will have to deal with the fact that real life brings unsettling things, that sometimes not everything is as it seems, and that when we care about something, we must act despite others.
