Description
Frequent complications for diabetics include digestive issues, which affect more than half of diabetics to varying degrees. This publication, which is the 16th volume of the successful series Contemporary Diabetology, addresses all organs and tissues belonging to the gastroenterological system that are more or less influenced by the presence of DM2. The current era is characterized by an overwhelming amount of information, which, however, is utilized very selectively, if at all. This publication was created to restore dialogue between specialized fields, in this case between diabetology and gastroenterology. The main goal of such dialogue is to increase the effectiveness of treatment and the quality of life for patients. From this perspective, this interdisciplinary publication is a bright exception in our country.
