Description
Following the exceptionally successful title dedicated to Czech beer, a new guide comes that introduces readers to the Czech Republic as a producer of quality wine – both through chapters dedicated to the tradition, history, and present of grapevine cultivation in our countries, and through presentations of a wide range of Czech and Moravian wineries, both large and very small. There are also presentations of wine associations and merchants dealing with quality wine, wine tourism destinations, as well as festivals and celebrations. The publication also includes a 'wine map' of the Czech Republic, which marks all the wineries mentioned in the guide and also highlights wine cycling routes. The guide is divided into two main parts: the first is dedicated to wine in general, including its history, production, storage, classification by varieties and types, and includes a guide on how to recognize good and bad wine, along with a glossary of important wine terms. This is followed by an overview of selected wineries. Characteristics of the title: clear texts, colorful photographs, gastronomy, culture, tips, interesting facts, maps, references, QR codes.
