The book by photographer Pavel Radosta, editor of the magazine Moje země, presents over 150 photographs of the traces left by the Baroque era in South Bohemia. The term "pérola barroca" from Portuguese jewelers - a pearl of irregular shape - gave its name to the artistic style that is "surprising, original, wavy, flowing, and unrestrained by geometry." It is also one of the faces of South Bohemia, the pearls of our country. Impressive Baroque architecture, artistic works, gardens, landscape units, and the Baroque lifestyle have left traces in South Bohemia that we encounter at every turn today. And it is precisely these that photographer Pavel Radosta focused his camera lens on, among other things, as the editor of the magazine Moje země.
