A novella about the greatest cannibal among us. In an untouched jungle, an indigenous tribe lives its 'Stone Age' shortly after World War II, without contact with the outside world. The only representative of that world is an American missionary who parachutes down to the natives. Along with other advancements of his civilization, such as the belief in a single spirit, Coca-Cola, or a Colt, he brings a deadly gift to the world of cannibals – precise Breitling Navitimer aviation watches. And with them comes the greatest and ultimate cannibal. The novella is an allegory based on the true story of a Presbyterian pastor in Papua New Guinea from 1954. In a text that poses existential questions, the reader will find elements of magical realism and dark humor.
