Description
A pocket guide to Jindřichův Hradec expanded to include the area of Czech Canada. The main part of the guide is dedicated to a sightseeing walk through the historic center of Jindřichův Hradec and, of course, a tour of the castle. At the very beginning, the history of the town and the noble families that owned Hradec in the past are described in an engaging manner. To add some variety to the sightseeing section, a short quiz is included at the end. Naturally, there are plenty of beautiful color photographs (including aerial shots), a traditional recipe for a local specialty, and many useful tips. This practical DL-format guide (220 x 115 mm) is dedicated to Jindřichův Hradec and its surroundings. The updated edition has been expanded to include the area of Czech Canada, which directly borders the Jindřichův Hradec region. As a result, tourist "gems" such as Slavonice, Dačice, and the more distant Telč (UNESCO) have been included in the guide. Given that Czech Canada is bordered to the south by the Austrian border, the guide also has a certain relevance to our southern neighbors (the Austrian Waldviertel region).
