The author explains behavioral problems simply from a physiotherapist’s perspective. It includes a brief explanation of sensory processing disorder, a classification of disorders, their connection with a child’s development and learning, a simple description of individual sensory systems, the characteristics of their dysfunction, and ideas for therapeutic activities and exercises. All the activities are safe when the recommendations and rules given in the book are followed. The child’s age, the extent of their difficulties, and their current physical and emotional state should always be considered when choosing suitable exercises and activities. If parents remain uncertain or have further questions, the author recommends consulting a therapist. Ideally, the activities in this book serve as a supplement to a therapeutic program established by a therapist.
