Dr. Jana Kombercová describes her experiences from over a quarter-century of practice in the field of holistic medicine in her book. Over the years, she has gradually managed to connect classical (school) medicine with alternative medicine. The latter draws knowledge from macrobiotics, yoga, acupuncture, homeopathy, and not least, astrology. The author leverages her experiences from daily work in a general practitioner's office as well as her rich theoretical knowledge from numerous courses and training, mainly in acupuncture, homeopathy, and musculoskeletal medicine. For several years, she also lectured at many seminars on acupuncture, electroacupuncture, and homeopathy for doctors. To this day, she organizes lectures and courses on a holistic approach in medicine for the general public.
