When the energy of chi flows unobstructed throughout the body, we find ourselves in a state of balance. We are vital, healthy, and content. Lochan-kung is one of the oldest systems of qigong. It consists of a series of specific exercises that affect the individual in their entirety – touching their body, mind, and spirit, and training all components. With the help of lochan-kung, we stretch and strengthen muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones, massage internal organs, and sharpen the senses. Above all, however, this practice ensures a harmonious exchange and management of energy. The exercises are explained step by step and illustrated clearly. The medical and therapeutic aspects of each exercise are also described in detail: which meridians are worked with, what indications and contraindications are relevant, and which parts and areas of the body are particularly strengthened.
