Doktore, to byla jízda! – Taylor Patrick (2022)

Time measures everyone equally, and so – although very reluctantly – we must accept that this installment of the beloved doctor series by Patrick Taylor is the last one. We once again meet Fingal O'Reilly, his deputy Barry, and the quirky residents of the Irish town of Ballybucklebo. It is the year 1965, young Queen Elizabeth has just spoken on television, and everyone is preparing for the annual Christmas gathering. Remarkably interesting guests will arrive for the celebration, which means Dr. O'Reilly must take on his traditional selfless role, helping not only as a doctor but also as a confessor and advisor. His warm humanity is recognized by both the long-hidden brother of the Marquis of Ballybucklebo and a little girl whose entire world has collapsed at one moment. The doctor's decisive housekeeper, Mrs. Kincaid, nicknamed Kinky, helps him with her mysterious ability to see into the future. The local chimney sweep and the gift shop saleswoman also contribute to restoring happiness to the little girl. However, the main role will be played by the kind, generous Santa – just like every Christmas. So let us enjoy the Christmas celebration and the closeness of hearts and souls!
