This completely original textbook is designed for schools, courses, and self-learners. A systematic and detailed explanation of Latin grammar, the basics of vocabulary, and extensive study and practice materials, graphically differentiated into essential study and supplementary teaching, allow the textbook to be used for a basic Latin course as well as for more advanced types of instruction. A strength of the textbook is that it presents the connection of original Latin words with living words or phrases in contemporary Czech.
