A bilingual dictionary of medium size, whose Russian-Czech part contains about 41,000 Russian expressions and 50,700 Czech equivalents. The Czech-Russian part contains about 52,100 Czech expressions and 64,200 Russian equivalents. For this edition, the dictionary has been supplemented with approximately 3,000 new words and many new meanings. Some equivalents have also been refined, and some outdated entries and meanings have been removed. Practical organization, selection of entries, phraseological richness, a well-developed grammatical apparatus, and a bidirectional index make the dictionary a useful tool for both experienced Russian scholars and beginner students. The dictionary is intended for both Czech and Russian users.
