Technical drawing is a subject that combines logical thinking with spatial imagination and precision in technical expression. With the development of new techniques and automation, and the increasing interconnection of various production fields, the demands for worker qualifications are also rising. This subject also serves as a preparatory course for further specialized subjects and practical teaching. It leads to basic knowledge of standardization, knowledge of reading and creating technical documentation, where the primary and main input element into production is the technical drawing. Although drawing is primarily done using computer technology equipped with the appropriate software, it is essential to know the basic rules for creating and formally editing drawings for their creation and correct reading. No software can replace knowledge of standards and principles of technical drawing. It is also important to master the drawing of quality sketches by hand, which often serve as a basis for production, especially in pre-production stages when creating samples and models of products.
