Description
This teaching aid with methodological guidance supports alternative reading instruction using the global method. It is intended for children in special primary schools who experience difficulties learning to read, including children with more profound intellectual disabilities. The method can bridge the period when a child is unsuccessful with the commonly used analytic-synthetic method, or serve as the foundation for teaching social reading. The set contains pictures with words, each in three versions for different uses: creating concertina board books, free manipulation with individual pictures, and cutting into simple puzzles. The pictures are arranged into thematic groups based on sensory and intellectual education. The book also includes a brief description of teaching reading with the global method, instructions and practice materials. Illustrated by Jan Jiřík. The contents are in Czech.
