The reader is also divided into two parts, with the second part gaining importance and having a larger scope that allows for the inclusion of longer excerpts from Czech and world literature. There are suitable poetic and prose texts for recitation, dramatization, and for raising awareness of the relationship between literature, theater, film, and television. The diverse selection of excerpts presents readers with fairy tales, adventure stories, nature tales, girls' novels, sci-fi, and comic strips. The original reader for the 9th grade of practical elementary school is currently sold out, and a revised and expanded version is being prepared, which is expected to be released by the end of the first semester.
