Description
The textbook is based on the RVP for basic education - Annexes regulating the education of students with mild intellectual disabilities. It is intended primarily for 5th-grade students. The textbook builds on the material covered in the fourth grade. It focuses on deepening knowledge about the human body, hygiene, and the simplest procedures for providing first aid. A large part of the textbook is dedicated to animals, especially pets, birds, and insects. Students will also expand their knowledge of plants, particularly cultivated plants. In the next section of the textbook, students are introduced to inanimate nature, and the conclusion emphasizes the importance of nature conservation. After reviewing the content, this textbook will be published as Science, Volume 2, a textbook for the first stage of practical elementary schools after minor adjustments.
