Art has a firm and irreplaceable place in the educational process. Poetry also has an educational character. It primarily depends on teachers whether they want and are able to utilize the potential of poems and influence their students with words. The author highlights poetry and seeks answers to questions about who a poet is and what knowledge is. She reflects on the teacher, on dialogue, and searches within herself and others for attempts to return to oneself and to the students. Various activities are employed to develop reading pre-literacy, literacy, and to strengthen the relationship with words as such. The book is primarily intended for educators at all levels of schooling but can also serve as inspiration for parents.
