Description
French Literature is a collection of essays about French writers and other national literary creators who spent a longer or shorter time in France, creating works. The individual texts are the result of several stays in Balzac's country, during which the author also took a number of photographs that accompany these essays and medallions. The author's aim was for the literary text and photographic material to form a coherent whole. Through this volume, the reader will glimpse places associated with the lives and works of Balzac, Baudelaire, Daudet, Rolland, Rimbaud, as well as Bunin, Feuchtwanger, Hemingway, Werfel, and Czech writers Karel Čapek, Jan Čep, Vítězslav Nezval, Jan Palivec, Jan Vladislav, Karel Zlín, and many others.
