Description
The Julian Alps are considered one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Europe. The pristine nature here offers a variety of options for peaceful walks in romantic valleys, as well as challenging ascents to the highest peaks, including via ferratas. You can admire not only the alpine scenery with rocky peaks, gorges, and waterfalls, but also green meadows with pastures or crystal-clear lakes. A large part of the area is represented by Triglav National Park, with its unique alpine flora and fauna. The guide includes the most interesting hikes from both the Slovenian and Italian sides of the mountains - a total of 50 routes (with GPS data) of varying difficulty, with precise descriptions of the paths, time schedules, complemented by 70 color photographs and 50 hiking maps at a scale of 1:50,000.
