This Czech-language workbook focuses on the syntax of the simple sentence, a subject usually taught in the second stage of primary school. The exercises assume some knowledge of syntactic terminology, but unlike the previous workbooks, this one also provides explanations and guidance designed to give pupils a systematic understanding of this abstract subject. It can be used independently, although the publisher recommends combining it with its Czech-language textbook series for the second stage of primary school. An iPad version offers an alternative approach, and a free test package called Zatracená čeština is available for download from the App Store.
