Description

To those who rejected it in the name of unlimited tolerance, he points out the paradox of their choice. According to Strauss, “the more we educate reason, the more we educate nihilism.” He also recalls that “the inevitable practical consequence of nihilism is fanatical obscurantism and reaction.”
