Description
F. W. J. Schelling (1775–1854) developed a system of identity philosophy, first published in 1801. In the following texts, his ideas develop while encountering the limits of negative philosophy, and Schelling seeks to explain these problems through a transition to a philosophy of freedom. In Philosophy and Religion (1804), he presents a basic account of identity philosophy, responds to its critics, and addresses the unity of freedom and necessity, the transition from the ideal to the real, and several religious themes. The contents are in Czech.
