Description
Father Pio of Pietrelcina (1887-1968) is one of the most beloved saintly figures of the 20th century. We know that for a full fifty years he bore visible stigmata (the wounds of Christ), had the gift of prophecy, bilocation, insight into human hearts, the gift of healing and liberation. He was a great intercessor for all suffering before God's face and a master of spiritual warfare. His mission clearly did not end on the day he went to the Lord; on the contrary: New testimonies of graces received through his intercession continue to arrive in Pietrelcina, whether they concern miraculous healings, conversions, or other divine interventions.
