The Gospel of Jesus Christ in comic form has only recently seen the light of day, published by the prestigious French publisher Artége: the renowned illustrator Olivier Drion worked on it for four years. It is being published in Czech translation for the first time. A fictional character, an old man who witnessed everything as a boy, guides us through the life of Jesus Christ and his apostles. The author strives to remain as faithful as possible to the gospel stories and Jesus's parables in the form we know from the Bible. The comic gospel will surely be welcomed by young readers around the age of 10 who have long outgrown children's Bibles and enjoy this genre. They can thus encounter God's word, which they might not have opened in an 'adult' Bible.
