Description
The meeting between Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow and a poor fourteen-year-old boy Edward from Malawi sparked the initial idea for the Mary’s Meals movement: one nutritious meal a day for every child at their place of education. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the program now reaches over 2,000,000 children daily in the poorest countries of the world. Many of those who survived thanks to Mary’s Meals and were able to attend school eventually become supporters of other children in need. The second, expanded and revised edition is published under the auspices of the Czech branch of Mary’s Meals.
