Description
In 2006, the Böhm couple participated in the founding of the non-profit organization SIRIRI, which supports Carmelite missions in the Central African Republic (CAR). Under the same banner, a successful program called School through Play was established in CAR in 2015. From the preface by Kateřina Lachmanová: "It is time for the story of SIRIRI to become more known among us. Therefore, I asked Lída Böhmová, who knows its essential parts like few others, to write it down for us. Her narration is not objective, nor can it be. Let us accept it as a personal testimony from a member of the founding team of SIRIRI, who has invested a part of her life into the work, gained a large part of her family and friends for it, and understandably cares deeply about it."
