Description
It is the winter of 1991. Inspector Kurt Wallander's team is investigating a new case: a boat has arrived at the Swedish coast, in which two corpses were found, frozen together in a horrifying embrace. The dead men were Eastern European criminals and victims of the mafia. However, events take a terrifying turn when Wallander is called to Riga to assist the Latvian police in solving the case. He finds himself in a foreign, icy world of police oversight, full of hidden threats and lies. Only the commissioner's stubborn, subconscious desire to find justice will bring the truth to light.
